What I like about it:
This does exactly what it says it does! I didn't feel like I needed to rinse or wash my face after using this. When I was testing this product, I didn't wash because it says I don't have to, so I didn't. My face felt clean and there was no makeup left on my face whatsoever. The next morning, my face had a glow to it. It could be the cucumber and white tea extract, I'm not sure, but I like it and what a bonus! These are gentle, smell good and don't irritate my eyes or skin like some of the other makeup remover towelette I have used in the past.
The fabric of the towelette is so incredibly soft -- the softest of all the towelettes I have tried and I have tried many! Nothing compares to this one. Burt's Bees truly takes the cake out of all of them.
This removed even the heaviest of makeup with one towelette. Take a look at the before and after below. I recently did a dark MAC Style Black look and removed all the makeup (foundation, eye and brow) with one towelette (both sides). Check it out:

I JUST ran out of makeup wipes on Sunday night(the josie maran bear naked) and picked up a cheapy pack by Australis (Australian brand)I used them last night just for my face makeup and they are total rubbish - hardly made a dint in Double Wear!!! Will pick these up on my journeys this week. Thanks for amazing review as always x
ReplyDeletehahaha thank you! how did you like the josie maran ones?? do they work well? they're twice the price of the burt's bees ones for the same amount, still cheaper than MAC's at $15. why is it so expensive to take our damn makeup off!? lol
ReplyDeleteomg that sucks! estee lauder double wear? i invested in the double wear makeup remover that they sell and it is WORTH it to remove their double wear makeup line. a little goes a long way too. i stopped wearing the double wear foundation but it's a wonderful foundation. that whole line is incredible! have you tried their lipliners?
