If you haven't already, check out my quick review of these in my March products post. They're fantastic to use on wet or dry hair and the curl that these give to the hair is incredible! Well, I wanted to give these a little challenge and see how many consecutive days I could wear the curls. Check it out...
I started by washing and conditioning my hair first. I dried my bangs then applied Moroccan Oil before putting in the curlers. I did this at night so I could sleep in the curlers and allow my hair to dry thoroughly.
*Note: I used a wide tooth comb to comb through the curls each day to remove any kinks or knots and to smooth them out.
DAY 1
After removing the curlers, I applied a smoothing serum and that's it!
Day 1 - super tight curls
Day 1 - back
The only product I used was Ojon Revitalizing Spray. Pictures were taken at the end of the day.
Day 2 - looser curls

The only product I used was Batiste Dry Shampoo. Pictures were taken at the end of the day.
Day 3 - still curly!

These curlers definitely passed the 4-day challenge for me!! Also, they're the most comfortable flexible curlers, of all the brands I've tried, to sleep in. I think they give one helluva curl that lasts for a solid three days. Must try!! Great for all hair types, too. :)
Have you tried these? What do you think of the challenge - do they get a thumbs up or down?
Wishing you all a beautiful day!
Betty xx

They sure have lasted the test! I'm lucky if my curls last night :)

I LOVE these curlers too! My mom bought them for me literally like 10 years ago since my hair won't normally hold a curl longer than a couple hours and these do work amazingly. I actually bought another pack of these so I can make teeny tiny curls as well as larger ones.
ReplyDeleteFour days is pretty impressive for these though. I haven't tried over just my regular two days.
Super pretty :) you really suit curly locks.
ReplyDeleteMine usually fall out on the same day I curl, stupid heavy thick hair xx
@ chelsea - give these a try!! they really hold the curl on even the toughest hair! if you find that your curls are still loose and falling after one day, run mousse through your hair before putting the curlers in. they'll really lock in with the mousse. give it a try and let me know how you make out!
ReplyDelete@ angie - i want to buy these in the bigger size too but i haven't found them! where did you get them?
ReplyDeletethanks star!!
ReplyDelete@ wendy - thanks baby!! i love wearing curls. i get really lazy about my hair and curling it is the easiest way to create a "style" and using the wrap snap and go is THE easiest and fastest way to do it. i have so much hair it's ridiculous and it's quite thick. girl, give these a go!! you'll love them! the proof is in the pictures! lol xx
ReplyDelete4 days of curl - that's fantastic. I need to get my hands on some of these.
ReplyDeleteI got mine at Sally's.
